But long as I my sins repeat.
My sins Thou never canst forget,
But while I persevere in ill,
My crimes Thou must remember still;
Lord, that Thy promise may take place.
Evil out of my heart erase;
I then shall in Thy grace abide,
Fully, for ever justified.
