By faith I Babel's fall foresee,
The Babel of indwelling sin:
I know the promise is for me.
And wait the' accomplishment within:
Thy word in that appointed day
Faithful and true we all shall prove.
And seeming slow, Thou wilt not stay,
But come, and perfect us in love.
