Jesus, Angel of the Lord,
I stand before Thy face.
Foul, and by myself abhorr'd,
I humbly sue for grace;
Take these filthy rags away.
My guilt, and inbred sin remove.
In Thy righteousness array.
And crown me-with Thy love.
