Malachi 3:2: Who may His day abide

by Charles Wesley 1707–1788

From Short Hymns on Select Passages of the Holy Scriptures (1762) · Osborn ed., vol. 10 (1871)

Religion

Who may His day abide,
Or stand by Jesus tried?
He whose sin the flames consume;
Glad to be by fire refined.
He shall from the furnace come,
Leave his inbred dross behind.
