In tenderest pity to Thine own.
Thou dost Thy wrath forbear;
Thine every servant is a son
Whom Thou dehght'st to spare:
And while our hearts are bow'd to Thee,
Thine easy yoke we prove,
And own it perfect liberty
To serve the God we love.
