Matthew 4:10: Get thee hence, Satan
From Short Hymns on Select Passages of the Holy Scriptures (1762) · Osborn ed., vol. 10 (1871)
Religion
Inspire me, Saviour, with that power
Which cast the tempter down,
So shall I bear the fiery hour,
And bid the fiend be gone!
Quell'd by the Spirit of Thy grace
Again the foe shall flee:
He cannot stand before my face,
When Thou residest in me.
