Matthew 5:4: Turn, into flesh the stony turn

by Charles Wesley 1707–1788

From Short Hymns on Select Passages of the Holy Scriptures (1762) · Osborn ed., vol. 10 (1871)

Religion

And while for Thee alone I mourn,
The consolation send;
O come Thyself, my soul to' embrace.
And let my cheerful life of grace
In glorious comfort end.
