But doth it, Lord, Thy wonder raise,
The faith Thou hast Thyself bestow'd?
O what a mystery of grace!
The Man in Christ admires the God!
Thou wonder'st at Thy Father's deeds,
That we may praise what He hath done.
From whom our every good proceeds,
And all receive through faith alone.
