Matthew 10:34: I came not to send peace, but a sword
From Short Hymns on Select Passages of the Holy Scriptures (1762) · Osborn ed., vol. 10 (1871)

Use upon us Thy Spirit's sword.

Cut off our selfishness and pride,
Our sins for ever slay.
