Matthew 14: The gospel by our Saviour bless'd
From Short Hymns on Select Passages of the Holy Scriptures (1762) · Osborn ed., vol. 10 (1871)

The gospel by our Saviour bless'd
Doth efficacious prove.
The leaves a thousand-fold increased
Communicate His love:
We banquet on the heavenly Bread,
When Christ Himself imparts
By ministerial hands convey'd
To all believing hearts.
