Help me, Lord, on whom alone
Succour is for sinners laid,
Help me for Thine aid to groan.
Help me to accept Thine aid;
Still assist me by Thy grace
Helpless at Thy feet to lie.
Well to close my various race,
Well to suffer, and to die.
