Religion
Not to surprise our Lord intends.
But waken those to whom He sends.
And every gospel-harbinger
Should sinners for His grace prepare:
Repent, as charged by Him they say.
Repent, and find the living Way,
Lay down your arms, to Christ submit.
And gasp for mercy at His feet.
