Matthew 20:16: The number of the call'd is great
From Short Hymns on Select Passages of the Holy Scriptures (1762) · Osborn ed., vol. 10 (1871)
Religion
The number of the call'd is great.
But that of the elected small,
Invited to the gospel-treat
So few will answer to the call,
So few the proffer'd blessing take,
And faithful to the end endure,
Giving all diligence to make
Conditional election sure.
