Matthew 21:16: To Jesus's name Hosanna we sing
From Short Hymns on Select Passages of the Holy Scriptures (1762) · Osborn ed., vol. 10 (1871)
Religion
To Jesus's name Hosanna we sing,
And gladly proclaim Our heavenly King:
Poor justified sinners, His glory Ave raise,
Who teaches beginners To perfect His praise.
While Jesus receives The grace He imparts,
The gladness He gives. And draws fi-om our hearts.
We welcome the blessing He brings from above,
With thanks never-ceasing, And rapturous love.
