Matthew 22:14: Call'd by nature's glimmering light
From Short Hymns on Select Passages of the Holy Scriptures (1762) · Osborn ed., vol. 10 (1871)
Religion
Call'd by nature's glimmering light,
The law, and gospel word,
t N come in by faith, delight
In Christ, and keep their Lord;
Fewer still that persevere
To make their own election sure,
Gain the sinless character
And saints till death endure.
