Possess'd by sin the world and hell
My kindred Lord I see,
And bring the souls Thou lov'st so well
In fervent prayer to Thee.
Thou canst, Thou wilt, (I dare not doubt,)
The' indwelling demons chase;
I trust Thy power to cast them out,
I trust Thy pardoning grace.
