Mark 9: Jesus, my Lord, I cry to Thee
From Short Hymns on Select Passages of the Holy Scriptures (1762) · Osborn ed., vol. 11 (1871)
Religion
Jesus, my Lord, I cry to Thee
Against the spirit unclean
I want a constant liberty
A perfect rest from sin:
Expel the fiend out of my heart
By love's almighty power,
Now, now command him to depart.
And never enter more.
