An herald from the King of kings
He comes our guilty fears to chase,
Good tidings of great joy He brings,
Great joy to Adam's favour'd race;
Not one of all our ransom'd kind
But may the gospel-grace receive.
Born in himself his Saviour find.
And one with his Creator live.
