Luke 6:32: The Christian law alone
From Short Hymns on Select Passages of the Holy Scriptures (1762) · Osborn ed., vol. 11 (1871)
Religion
The Christian law alone
Is holy, good, and pure.
It makes our heart-corruptions known,
And ministers a cure.
Exalts the fallen man;
And raised ourselves above,
We then resemble God again
By universal love.
