Luke 8:44: To Thee I now draw near

by Charles Wesley 1707–1788

Religion

To Thee I now draw near,
With faith and shame and fear
Mercy at Thy feet implore,
Feel my own unworthiness,
Faint without Thy saving power,
Die without Thy healing grace.

Source of my holiness,
Thy manhood I confess;
Through the means to Thee apply,
Let it heal and purify,
Jesus, in Thy patient live.
