Hymns on the Lord's Supper, 131

by Charles Wesley 1707–1788

From Hymns on the Lord's Supper (1745) · Osborn ed., vol. 3 (1869)

Religion

Would the Saviour of mankind
Without His people die?
No, to Him we all are join'd
As more than standers by.
Freely as the Victim came
To the altar of His cross,
We attend the slaughter'd Lamb,
And suffer for His cause.
