John 3:4: I Ask no more, how can it be

by Charles Wesley 1707–1788

From Short Hymns on Select Passages of the Holy Scriptures (1762) · Osborn ed., vol. 11 (1871)

Religion

I Ask no more, how can it be?
But leave the manner now to Thee,
And wait in age to prove
That heavenly birth, by faith restored
To all the image of my Lord,
To all the life of love.
