John 5:36: The judgment blind of erring man
From Short Hymns on Select Passages of the Holy Scriptures (1762) · Osborn ed., vol. 11 (1871)
Religion
The judgment blind of erring man,
The verbal testimony 's vain.
Unless our actions testify
And more substantial proof supply:
But when our faith by works is show'd.
When all our works are wrought in God,
His record then the world receive;
They //i//s/ behold how Christians live.
