Doubts may in true disciples rise;
They cannot. Lord, offended be,
Or like the murmuring world, despise
The truths not yet reveal'd by Thee:
By faith their scruples they suppress.
With meek humility submit.
And waiting for the light of grace.
Bewail their blindness at Thy feet.
