John 8:8: Content to blast their wicked aim
From Short Hymns on Select Passages of the Holy Scriptures (1762) · Osborn ed., vol. 11 (1871)
Religion
Content to blast their wicked aim
He stoops again, and spares their shame.
The secret in their breast
Discover'd by His piercing word.
He leaves; the troubled sea is stirr'd;
Let conscience do the rest!
