John 8:46: Convinced of sin I cannot be

by Charles Wesley 1707–1788

Religion

Convinced of sin I cannot be,
Thou seest it. Lord, and Thou alone,
Born, wholly born in sin, to Thee
My heart's inicjuity I own:
But if Thou bless me with Thy mind,
And safe conceal my life above,
The world no sin in me shall find,
Kept by the power of perfect love.
