What comfortable words are Thine,
Physician of the helpless poor!
They speak our Comforter Divine,
They speak our heart-felt pardon sure:
Thy words are words of truth and grace.
Spirit, and light, and life they give;
We hear, we see the Speaker's face.
We see the face of God, and live!
