John 13:29: Christ and His friends the poor relieve
From Short Hymns on Select Passages of the Holy Scriptures (1762) · Osborn ed., vol. 11 (1871)
Religion

Alms from their little stock they give.
And shall not I afford
My love in poverty to show.
And gladly the last mite bestow
To feed my hungry Lord.
