John 19:18: They crucified... two other with Him
From Short Hymns on Select Passages of the Holy Scriptures (1762) · Osborn ed., vol. 12 (1872)
Religion
Virtue by few embraced
We find in Christ alone,
Betwixt two opposite vices placed
Essential Virtue own:
And still the truth is seen
With error by its side,
And Christians among sinful men
Are daily crucified.
