John 2:41: Then they that gladly received his word were, &c
From Short Hymns on Select Passages of the Holy Scriptures (1762) · Osborn ed., vol. 12 (1872)
Religion
Open their hearts, almighty Lord,
That sinners may receive
With joyful readiness Thy word,
And by Thy gospel live:
Thousands in this and every day
Unto Thy people join,
And let their spotless lives display
The power of faith Divine.
