Acts 6:7: And the word of God increased
From Short Hymns on Select Passages of the Holy Scriptures (1762) · Osborn ed., vol. 12 (1872)
Religion
When the stumbling-block is gone
Envy and contentious pride,
Then the word doth swiftly run,
Then the church is multiplied;
When the Christians all agree
Priests themselves in troops submit,
Those that nail'd Him to the tree
Fall and kiss His bleeding feet.
