Religion
Acts 7:19: Deceit and force are still employ'd
From Short Hymns on Select Passages of the Holy Scriptures (1762) · Osborn ed., vol. 12 (1872)
Religion
Deceit and force are still employ'd
Against the church and truth of God
And its defenders here:
The Lord permits it so to be,
That in our last extremity
He may Himself appear.
