Thee, Jesus, I believe the Son,
The' eternal Son of the Most-High,
Jehovah's glorious Fellow own,
Maker of all in earth and sky,
Essential God, to sinners given,
Whose presence fills both earth and heaven.

The sovereign everlasting Lord
Thee by the Holy Ghost I call,
Adore, by angel hosts adored,
And who before Thy Father fall,
Him I confess in Thee alone,
And have no other gods but One.
