John 17:32: When they heard of the resurrection of the, &c
From Short Hymns on Select Passages of the Holy Scriptures (1762) · Osborn ed., vol. 12 (1872)
Religion
Proud sinners who in learning trust,
Learning unsanctificd,
The hope and wisdom of the just
They always will deride;
The power of faith and godliness,
The preachers they condemn;
And our true glory we confess,
Is to be hiss'd by them.
