2 Corinthians 5:7: We walk by faith, not by sight
From Short Hymns on Select Passages of the Holy Scriptures (1762) · Osborn ed., vol. 13 (1872)
Religion
DarkLy through a glass we see
The great Invisible,
Pinion'd with mortality,
Till death removes the veil:
Then we lose our faith in sight,
Then we see Him as He is,
Dwell in uncreated light,
And everlasting bliss.
