Hebrews 9: And thank Thee for the warning grace

by Charles Wesley 1707–1788

From Short Hymns on Select Passages of the Holy Scriptures (1762) · Osborn ed., vol. 13 (1872)

Religion

And thank Thee for the warning grace,
That here I have not long to live:
I hasten to my real home,
For no reprieve, or respite cry;
But when the fatal hour is come,
My only business be to die.
