1 Peter 4:7: The end of all things is at hand: be ye...sober, &c

Shall we live on like thoughtless brutes,
Nor ever once attend,
(In the wild whirl of time's pursuits)
That time shall shortly end?
Ah, give us, Lord, the sober mind,
The heaven-ensuring care,
So shall we pass the days behind
In watchfulness and prayer.
