Psalm 133

by John White 1575–1648

From Davids Psalms in Metre (1655)

Religion

HOw pleasant and how good is it?
how doth that grace excell,
When in the unity of love,
brethren together dwell?
'Tis like that precious fragrant oyl,
that once was poured out
On Aarons head, and ran his beard
and collar round about;

Like Hermons dew, or that which doth
on Zions hills descend,
For there his blessing God commands,
ev'n life without an end.
