al-Hadirah
Qutbah ibn Mihsan, called al-Hadirah, was of the family of Tha'labah ibn Sa'd, of Dhubyan, a great stock of the Ghatafan group. The nickname means broad, stout and muscular in the shoulders and is said to have been given him by Zabban ibn Sayyar of Fazarah after a quarrel on a hunting trip.
Lyall places him, as Zabban's contemporary, in the latter half of the sixth century A.D.
