'Auf ibn 'Atiyah

'Auf ibn 'Atiyah was a chief of the tribe of Taim, belonging to the Ribab group. Lyall dates him to the second half of the sixth century A.D. from his leadership of his tribe at the battle of Rahrahan, the year before Shi'b Jabalah.

He was also present at the defeat of 'Amir ibn Sa'sa'ah at an-Nisar.
