Aus ibn Ghalfah

Aus ibn Ghalfah, of al-Hujaim, of Tamim, celebrates the victory of Yarbu' over 'Amir ibn Sa'sa'ah and a Kindite prince in the Day of Dhu Najab, fought about a year after Shi'b Jabalah, circa A.D. 571, by Lyall's reckoning.

Ode CXVIII is his only piece in the collection.
