Bishr ibn 'Amr

6th century

Bishr ibn 'Amr belonged to the house of Sa'd ibn Malik of Qais ibn Tha'labah, the family of the two Muraqqishes and of Tarafah, and was a kinsman of Maimun al-A'sha. Lyall says little about him is to be gathered from the usual sources.

The Aghani makes him a contemporary of an-Nu'man Abu Qabus.
