Burkhard von Hohenfels

Burkhard von Hohenfels, a Swabian nobleman from the Lake Constance region, wrote songs in the manner of Neidhart and Gottfried von Neifen.

One of his songs appears here in Frank C. Nicholson’s translation, Old German Love Songs (1907), made from the minnesingers of the twelfth to fourteenth centuries.
