Hester Chapone

Hester Chapone (1727–1801), born Hester Mulso, was an English writer and a member of the bluestocking circle, best known for her Letters on the Improvement of the Mind (1773).

Her poem To Stella, written by 1755, was printed in her Miscellanies (1775).
