Chiang Yen

Chiang Yen (AD 443–504) lived under the Southern dynasties. Giles prints one poem of his, on a battlefield and the forgotten names of the dead.

The poems here are Herbert A. Giles’s versions in Chinese Poetry in English Verse (1898), given with the poet’s name as spelled in that book.
