Colley Cibber

Colley Cibber was an English actor-manager and playwright who became Poet Laureate in 1730. His stage comedies and his autobiography, An Apology for the Life of Mr. Colley Cibber, are better known than his verse.

Palgrave includes his song "The Blind Boy".
