Bertram Dobell

Bertram Dobell (1842–1914) was an English bookseller and literary scholar. A largely self-taught man, he published or reissued works by writers including James Thomson and Thomas Traherne, and wrote poetry, criticism and biography himself.

The poems here are taken from Arthur Quiller-Couch's anthology The Oxford Book of Victorian Verse (Clarendon Press, 1912).
