Eifion Wyn

1867–1926

Eifion Wyn (Eliseus Williams) was a Welsh lyric poet from Porthmadog, whose simple, melodious songs of nature and the sea made him one of the best loved Welsh poets of the early twentieth century.

Two of his poems, "Ora pro Nobis" and "A Flower-Sunday Lullaby", are given in English verse by Alfred Perceval Graves in A Celtic Psaltery (1917).

  1. "Ora pro Nobis"
  2. A Flower-Sunday Lullaby
