Jean Glover

Jean Glover (1758–1801) was a Scottish singer and songwriter, the daughter of a weaver at Kilmarnock, who married a strolling player and wandered through the west of Scotland singing her own songs.

Her song 'O'er the Muir amang the Heather' was taken down for the Scots Musical Museum and became a classic of Scottish song; Lyra Celtica prints it.
