Godescalcus
J. M. Neale describes Godescalcus as the most famous writer, next to S. Notker himself, of the Proses named from Notker, and warns that he is not to be confused with his predestinarian namesake. Neale gives no dates for him.
This file gives Neale's verse translation of the Alleluiatic Sequence 'Cantemus cuncti', which he says was written for the Deposition of Alleluia at Septuagesima and which he first translated for the Hymnal Noted (Mediaeval Hymns and Sequences, 1867). His other two versions of Godescalcus are literal prose and are not included.
